Susquehanna River
The Susquehanna River begins at Lake Otsego, near Cooperstown, New York, and travels south 444 miles before emptying into the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.

In an average year, water from the Susquehanna accounts for over half the fresh water flowing into the Chesapeake Bay.
