United Nations Special Committee on Palestine
The United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP) was formed during a special session of the United Nations in 1947. The committee was made up of representatives of 11 member states and was taked to investigate all questions relevant to the problem of Palestine and to recommend solutions to be considered by the regular session in September of 1947.
