Benjamin Meed
Benjamin Miedzyrzecki was born on February 19, 1918, in Warsaw, Poland. He was a slave laborer for the Germans outside the Warsaw Ghetto and survived 1,000 days in the Ghetto. He and his wife, Vladka Peltel, were active in the underground.

Meed is a founder and the President of the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors.
